FAQ

How is Polymarket payout calculated?

Divide your stake by the share price in dollars to get the number of contracts. If that side wins, each share pays $1, so payout equals the contract count. Profit is payout minus stake; ROI is profit ÷ stake.

Does Polymarket take a fee on winning payouts?

No. As of 2026 Polymarket does not charge a fee when a winning share pays $1. Your profit is the difference between $1 per share and the price you paid. If venue fees change, treat this page as stale until we update the copy.

Does buying NO work the same way?

Yes. Enter the NO share price (about 100¢ minus the YES price, ignoring spread). Contracts, payout, and ROI use the same formulas — the side label is only for your notes.

Is this a trade ticket?

No. Polydata never executes trades. The calculator does not hit an API. Use it to size a hypothetical, then trade on Polymarket if you choose.
